In the early 1990's, They Came In Droves started pioneering the alternative rock revolution throughout the United States. The band originates from Springfield, IL and has a strong Midwest foundation. Through the years they have produced several albums and shared the stage with many influential artists still touring today. Over the years, they have played with 311, Cracker, Big Head Todd and the Monsters, Material Issue, Lit, and the Jayhawks.

They Came in Droves got back together in 2020 to play some festivals and began writing new material. They invited Chris Barnett from "BigFur" to play rhythm guitar. Since then, they have recorded 10 new songs at a local studio "Frequency Studios." They sent their music to Focx Productions to get mastered by the Grammy award winner Anthony Focx. He has produced and mastered bands such as Buckcherry, Daultry and Ace Frehley. TCID has plans to play shows around the Midwest soon. Stay tuned for details.
